Your role at BRE
We are currently seeking an energetic and organised individual to join our team as a BIM Auditor.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Deliver auditing and advisory services to industry across the UK and internationally to attract new clients and ensure they are ready to apply for certification.
- Deliver auditing services to industry across the UK and internationally to ensure clients transition smoothly through their three-year audit cycle.
- Travel within the UK and possible global travel to service our client base in person.
- Identification of non-conformities during assessments, assessment of their corrective actions to support client's certification process
- Production of conformity assessment reports to tight timescales to ensure our clients receive excellent service and certification is timely
- Effective management of a client base and visit schedule with the certification team to ensure our clients maintain their certification and audits as part of their implementation.

Your profile
Some skills that will be necessary for this position include:
Essential:
- Masters qualification in BIM
- Ability to work with clients and colleagues whilst maintaining the required level of diplomacy, integrity and confidentiality
- Post graduate qualification in an AEC related discipline or equivalent experience
- Extensive work experience in infrastructure design, construction and operation, lifecycle management, Building design, construction, and Operations.
- Working knowledge of typical IT applications, BIM systems, training implementation and Information Management and QA procedures., including common industry Information standards, and Information production methods and procedures
- Knowledge of BIM implementation strategies and associated Information Technology needs, either from a consultant, contracting or third party background
- An understanding of the use and capabilities of some of authoring software tools from vendors such as Autodesk, Bentley, Graphisoft or Solibri
- Ability to travel away from home for a period of one day to three weeks at a time.
Desirable:
- Have an understanding of previous HMG BIM Level 2 and current UK BIM Framework, ISO 19650 requirements and associated standards and documentation
- Knowledge and understanding of broader BIM initiatives and organisations globally
- Existing auditor skills and experience
- An understanding of OpenBIM and its related products such as IFC and COBie.
- Knowledge and understanding of Quality Management and ISO 9001
- Lead Auditor or Auditor qualifications to ISO 9001 or other related ISO Standards
