About Us
BRE Academy is a leading training provider for individuals and businesses in construction, manufacturing, real estate, infrastructure, and public sectors. We develop and deliver cutting-edge training courses in Sustainability, Information Management, and Fire and Safety through scientific research.
Your role at BRE
You will add value to the business through the production of high-quality, engaging training courses that incorporate the science and research of BRE. Working in close collaboration with colleagues in other BRE business areas and teams including Product Development, Assurance and Innovation and Research, you will fulfil the role through utilising best-practice training methodologies, techniques, and solutions to create impactful training materials in a resource-efficient manner.
Key responsibilities:
- Engage with Customers: Identify learning needs and develop tailored training solutions for new and existing customers, stakeholders, and users.
- Collaborate with Experts: Work closely with industry experts to gather information and transform it into engaging, high-quality training materials.
- Showcase BRE Knowledge: Collaborate across the Academy and other business areas to integrate BRE's scientific research and expertise into our training products.
- Ensure Quality and Timeliness: Deliver high-quality training products that are up-to-date, relevant, and produced in a timely manner.
- Innovate and Adapt: Utilise best-practice training methodologies and techniques to create impactful and resource-efficient training materials.
- Promote Positive Change: Develop training courses that encourage problem-solving and positive thinking within the industry.
- Expand Our Portfolio: Contribute to the development of new training courses in line with the Academy Product Roadmap, increasing our client base and revenue
Your profile
- Experience of reading technical information and writing of technical training products.
- Well-developed working knowledge of technical, computing practices and procedures to support operational and development of course content.
- Ability to work closely with industry experts to translate complex and technical materials into training content.
- Proven ability to use software to generate online training materials, such as RISE, and if required, test and implement new approaches and systems.
- Ability to write scripts to accompany video content training and filmed online training content.
- Ability to prioritise workload and achieve deadlines.
- Ability to work unsupervised and communicate progress of course development to the team and stakeholders.
